13-min Core Workout

This workout guest stars Cam Allen, a mid-life strength and fitness coach for women.

She takes you through a core workout that works your entire core, not just your ab muscles.

 

EQUIPMENT: She uses a kettlebell and heavy weights, but you could do this without weights, using light weights (even soup cans!), or you can work up to using heavier weights like she does.

MODIFICATIONS: Please see the two videos below for modifications on the plank and pushups. You can do the planks on your knees, and the pushups using a countertop or even a wall (easiest).

NOTE: In this workout, she mentions a Tabata clock – but don’t worry, you don’t need to use one. She guides you through the whole thing, including rest, so just follow along.
