Golden Milk Latte Mix

This anti-inflammatory drink mix is bright yellow from the turmeric powder and quite tasty.
You can either make it with just the spices to add to your favorite hot milk to make a quick drink, or you can add coconut milk powder to the mix and then all you need to do is add hot water to make a drink. This makes it wonderful for travel as it's usually pretty easy to find hot water most places.
MAKE AHEAD: Store in an airtight container in your pantry for up to 1 year.

Ingredients

  • 10 tsp dried Turmeric
  • 5 tsp dried Ginger
  • 2.5 tsp Coconut or Maple Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Powder optional
  • 1.5 cups Coconut Milk Powder optional

Instructions

TO MAKE THE MIXES:

  • Mix all of the ingredients in a small bowl, multiplying as necessary for the amount you want. Store the mix in an airtight container for up to a year.

TO MAKE A DRINK:

  • When making the latte, mix 1 tablespoon of the mix with 1 cup milk of choice and heat.
  • If you added coconut milk powder, mix 3 tablespoons of the mix with 1 cup of hot water.
