Apple Bacon Burgers

A burger every member of the family will love
Make ahead: Make up to 5 days ahead of time, store in the fridge, and reheat as necessary!
Servings: 4-6 people

Ingredients

For the Burgers:

  • 2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Sea Salt

For the Toppings:

  • 4 slices Bacon chopped
  • 1 large Apple cored and sliced thinly

Instructions

  • In a skillet over medium heat cook the bacon and apples, stirring occasionally, until the bacon starts to get crispy and the apples are soft, approximately 10-15 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the burger ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Form into 4-8 patties (depending on how thick/big you want them).
  • Heat a large cast-iron skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat on the stove or a grill to medium.
  • Cook the patties, turning once, until desired doneness (about 3-4 minutes a side for the smaller
    patties, 5-6 minutes a side for the larger ones).
  • Serve a scoopful of apple bacon mixture over the burger patties.
